UNITED STATES 2011 - Year End Celebration of Changed Lives

YEAR END CELEBRATION OF CHANGED LIVES

I have been going back through all of our Facebook posts over the last year and keeping track of all the skaters who have prayed and given their lives to Jesus. What an amazing journey we have been on at FacePlant SkateChurch not only over this past year, but over the past six years since we first started! Check these stats out and celebrate with us:

.

2006 - 80 first time decisions to follow Christ
2007 - 83 first time decisions to follow Christ
2008 - 58 first time decisions to follow Christ
2009 - 10 first time decisions to follow Christ
2010 - 9 first time decisions to follow Christ
2011 - 39 first time decisions to follow Christ
.

2006 to 2011 - 279 first time decisions to follow Christ

.

I would also like to note that around 50 skaters made a decision to follow Christ this last year at the demo in Siletz, Oregon. We have also seen others come to Christ as we have gone to various skate parks and shared our faith over the years. The statistics above are all from our weekly FacePlant SkateChurch meetings in Vancouver, Washington. We have no idea what this next year has in store for us at FacePlant SkateChurch, but I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has invested into this awesome ministry this past year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

How to Continue Following the Iris Latin America Team's Journey
I have been back in the United States for a few weeks now after co-leading an incredible journey through Latin America with a team of radical Jesus-lovers. Our Iris Latin America team continues to carry revival fire through every country in Central and South America. I was originally planning on documenting their continued journey here on our blog, but have decided not to as we would like to keep our personal missions blog more about our journeys. I am hoping to rejoin the team somewhere in South America during Spring break this next year. Please feel free to continue to follow the team's journey at the official Iris Latin America blog:
.
.
You can also click on the various teammates' blogs on the right sidebar of the Iris Latin America blog, as well as on our own personal blog to even get more stories, pictures and videos.
.
Iris Ministries has also places our Iris Latin America team under their ministry bases on the official Iris website:

.
I hope that you are able to continue on this adventure with us through all of Latin America. It is truly a historic journey that I am honored to in some small way be a part of.
