Brake Repairs on Genesis
After our last missions trip to Mexico, we needed to make some repairs to the brake system on Genesis, our 1997 Chevy Suburban. Midas overcharged us to fix the main cylinder and wheel cylinders, but we still needed to get the power brake booster replaced. We found a good deal on a new one at O'Reilly Auto Parts and had a very reasonable mechanic named Randy fix it in Oakland. Then we found that one of our rotors was cracked and we needed to have new pads and rotors installed. My long time friend and co-worker Kelly hooked us up by helping us purchase and install all of the parts for under $100. Little by little we continue to fix up our missionary vehicle. We continue to experience the favor of the Lord in even these small things as we serve our beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ both here and abroad.
