Iris Relief Mid-dle East Trip
The number of Sy-rian refugees crossing the border to Jor-dan continues to increase. As of February 8, 2013, 193,258 Sy-rian refugees have been registered by UNHCR in Jor-dan and another 49,391 await registration. These figures do not include Sy-rians that have not registered or await registration. As a result, Jor-dan’s economy, as well as water and energy resources, is strained. The prices of commodities are higher in Jor-dan compared to Sy-ria and the purchasing power of the refugees to cover basic needs is rapidly decreasing. Furthermore, food prices in Jor-dan have increased by nearly 50% due to the reduction of food imports and increased demand from new arrivals from Sy-ria.
.
I have been asked to join a small Iris Relief team to bring physical, emotional and spiritual aid to these precious refugees on the Jor-dan/Sy-ria border who are fleeing their country due to war. This is also a once in a lifetime opportunity, as it is against the law to preach the gospel to Jor-danians in Jor-dan, and to Sy-rians in Sy-ria, but because these Sy-rians are refugees and displaced, there is no law prohibiting us talking to them about Jesus because they are not in their own country.
.
We prayed together for two days about me going on this trip. After total confirmation through visions and words, we all felt that I had the green light to "throw out a fleece." If the $2,400 was to come in for my plane tickets, then I was to go. Within two days of that, my plane tickets were nearly completely covered, and I am now just needing a little more to be completely funded while on the ground. It would be amazing to go in with more money so that we could bless these beautiful people with more food and clothes as well. Thank you so much for your prayers and support. If you feel led to give toward this amazing opportunity, please use the Paypal link on this missions blog. Love and blessings!

Just Another Normal Day
Just another normal day in Micronesia: Missions school students getting absolutely wrecked in the presence of God. Amazing teachings and life altering revelation from heaven. Prophetic acts of stepping into new levels of faith. An older lady who has suffered from knee pain for six straight years totally healed with a brand new knee created supernaturally. People getting baptized in the Holy Spirit and receiving their prayer language. Jesus setting people free from demonic bondage as they coughed up and spit out white mucas all over the ground. Phew! I wonder what tomorrow will hold?

MICRONESIA 2013 - Climbing Sokehs Rock

Climbing Sokehs Rock
Today, Jesse, Ben and I decided to climb Sokehs Rock, the landmark that everyone knows on the island of Pohnpei. In fact, the word "Pohnpei" literally means "upon an altar of stone." Many people think of this as they view this magnificent volcanic rock jutting out of Sokehs Island. It was a steep and dangerous climb but well worth the journey, as we prayed at the top of Sokehs Rock, claiming that Pohnpei as well as the islands of Micronesia and the Pacific are altars on which YHWH was to be praised. Together we took communion at that "high place" trading the blood of Yeshua, which was spilt once for the sins of all, for the blood that was shed in human sacrifices that took place on the island of Pohnpei many years ago. It was an incredible time with Papa God. Intercession and warfare prayer are keys that bring total transformation to entire people groups and societies. We literally felt that strongholds' grips were loosened as we prayed today.

Kolonia Glory Chronicles
[Facebook Post from 2-7-13] Last night a group of us went into the streets and sakau bars of Kolonia to carry the glory of God to drunk people, gang members and troubled youth. We brought our guitars, sang songs, shared our testimonies and preached the gospel of the Father's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. Many stood up and entered into a personal relationship with Yeshua void of religion, as "while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

The message of the night: You don't need to clean yourself up before you come to God. He wants to meet you right where you are at. Invite Him in. He will change your life forever. You will finally be free. You will experience hope and purpose.
.
[Spontaneous Outreach from 2-13-13] Ben, Jesse and I headed to Arnold's for a cup of coffee as our Kolonia outreach that was planned with Marston and Alfonso was temporarily canceled because the Every Home guys were practicing for the upcoming crusade in Daini. While walking back from Arnold's we thought to go through Pohnrakied, but got chased by some dogs. So we headed back home using the main roads to stay safe. On our way back we ran into Marston and Alfonso and decided to hit the streets for a little bit. Jesse decided to head back to the house, so Ben and I walked toward Komwonlaid and Omine with the Every Home guys.

.
We ran into a group of about seven young people on the corner who wanted to hear what we had to share. Marston shared the gospel very clearly and prayed with the youth to receive Christ. While he was praying with them, I received a word from the Lord that at least one of those youth had just recently been rejected by a girl that he loved. As I spoke it out in faith, the oldest of the youth said that the word was for him. I laid hands on him and prayed for God to heal his broken heart, and that he would find intimacy solely in the person of Jesus Christ. They were all floored that God loves them so much that He would give such a prophetic word through us. We invited the youth to the upcoming crusade in Daini on Friday.
.
[Crusade in Daini from 2-15-13] Originally I was to lead the service at the jail while Herman came to the crusade in Daini. That day, Herman called and asked that I go straight to the crusade in Daini and that he would lead the service in the prison. Jonas and I practiced two original songs for the crusade, "You'll Be There For Me," and "Where the Wind Blows." With onlooking youth at dusk in Daini, Jonas and I started the crusade with these two songs. The youth seemed to like them, especially baffled that a white guy was singing reggea.
.
The Every Home for Christ youth performed dramas and dances as the sun set. More youth gathered and lined the streets. The Father was drawing many youth to Himself. Testimonies were also given and Anthony preached the gospel very clearly following a skit about the narrow road and the wide road. I had asked Herman if we could invite anyone who wanted prayer for healing or just a touch from God to come forward. Many came forward giving their lives to Christ and to get prayer for physical healings. I am pretty sure that everyone we prayed for received a healing touch from God. We continue to see the glory of God touch down here in Kolonia, Pohnpei.
