Climbing Sokehs Rock
Today, Jesse,
Ben and I decided to climb Sokehs Rock, the landmark that everyone knows
on the island of Pohnpei. In fact, the word "Pohnpei" literally means
"upon an altar of stone." Many people think of this as they view this
magnificent volcanic rock jutting out of Sokehs Island. It was a steep
and dangerous climb but well worth the journey, as we prayed at the top
of Sokehs Rock, claiming that Pohnpei as well as the islands of
Micronesia and the Pacific are altars on which YHWH was to be praised.
Together we took communion at that "high place" trading the blood of
Yeshua, which was spilt once for the sins of all, for the blood that was
shed in human sacrifices that took place on the island of Pohnpei many
years ago. It was an incredible time with Papa God. Intercession and
warfare prayer are keys that bring total transformation to entire people
groups and societies. We literally felt that strongholds' grips were
loosened as we prayed today.
